A volcanic vision of the world
A scientist will be explaining why the eruption of a volcano at a specific location is not just a local problem, but a global problem.
The former Secretary General of the International Association of Volcanology and Spain's CSIC Higher Council of Scientific Research's head of Geosciences, Joan Martí, will be putting the eruption of volcanoes into a world context. A natural and scientific perspective of volcano activity, "one of our planet's most visible manifestations of energy release".
“The eruption of a volcano at a specific location is not just a local problem, but a global phenomenon", says the scientist, who will be airing his views at the Worldcanic congress.
